Job summary

HCA Florida Lehigh Hospital is seeking a Florida-licensed CT Technologist to join our expanding imaging team. The role requires proficiency in brain, spine, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities CT protocols and the ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities include selecting and performing diagnostic CT exams, contrast administration, patient positioning, and ensuring high-quality imaging.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 24-month radiologic technology program from an AMA-approved institution.
• ARRT CT certification and valid Florida licensure (CRT) are required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in diagnostic radiology, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting (1–3 years).
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations with quality images.
• Operate CT scanner, contrast administration, and related equipment.
• Position patients and ensure safety and modesty.
• Obtain informed consent and document clinical information in MEDITECH.
• Maintain equipment and stay current with imaging protocols.
• On-call and call-back responsibilities as needed.

Education

24-month Radiologic Technology program

ARRT (CT) certification

Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

1-3 years diagnostic radiology experience
