Job summary

HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville is seeking a Florida-licensed CT Technologist to provide CT imaging on a PRN basis. You will perform diagnostic CT examinations, including brain, spine, chest, abdomen, and pelvis, while delivering compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities include selecting technical factors, administering contrast as needed, assisting with positioning, documenting clinical information, and maintaining equipment and safety.

Qualifications

• Florida-licensed CT Technologist
• ARRT CT certification
• Active Florida DOH licensure (CRT)
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
• 1–3 years CT Technologist experience, acute-care setting

Responsibilities

• Select proper technical factors for study and perform diagnostic CT exams accurately and compassionately
• Maintain knowledge of CT scanner, pressure injector, resuscitation equipment, laser filmer, and teleradiology system
• Assist in administering contrast media and related procedures
• Position patients safely and maintain modesty and comfort
• Document clinical information prior to exam and complete MEDITECH fields
• Obtain high-quality CT images for interpretation
• Stay proficient with software protocols and pursue relevant in-service courses
• Communicate effectively with patient and radiologist
• Check equipment operation and maintain clean environment to prevent cross-contamination
• Accept on-call and call-back duties as needed
• Proficiency in CT for on-site and free-standing ER locations

Vocational/Technical education in Radiologic Technology

Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
