Job summary

Overland Park Regional Medical Center is hiring a CT Technologist Multimodality. The role performs routine and specialized CT imaging and supports diagnostic workflows in a dynamic imaging department.

Ideal candidates have AMA-accredited program certification or a radiology technology degree, ARRT CT and radiography licensure within 12 months, BCLS within 30 days, and 2 years of CT experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and supportive team environment.

• Graduate of an AMA accredited program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
• Registered CT Technician (CT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.

Responsibilities

• You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.
• You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.
• You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• You will release customer with proper post procedure instructions.
• You will turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
• You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Location: Shawnee Freestanding Emergency Department

The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Tech provides high-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. • Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.
