Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a CT technologist for the Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital CT department in Illinois. The full-time, 32-hours-per-week role includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and rotating weekends with on-call and holiday coverage.

You will perform CT imaging, ensure patient safety, and support the department with QA and billing tasks. The ideal candidate holds AMA-approved radiology tech training with ARRT CT certification, at least 6 months CT experience, CPR, and a plan to obtain CT

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved radiology tech program with ARRT CT certification.
• Minimum 6 months CT experience required.
• CPR certified; IEMA accreditation preferred.
• ARRT CT registration expected within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Produce scans, position and immobilize patients; select technical factors.
• Ensure patient is informed about procedure and positioning details.
• Capture exam charges and update codes in HIS/RIS; supervise department staff.
• Verify CT studies before sending to PACS for radiologist review.
• Maintain CT suite records, QC tests and safety standards; perform 3-D and CT angiography.
• Administer contrast under radiologist supervision; stay current with tech advances.
