Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a CT technologist for its CT suite. Responsibilities include producing CT scans, positioning and immobilizing patients, selecting appropriate technical factors, and ensuring patient understanding of the procedure. The role requires ARRT CT certification and at least 6 months CT experience.

You will maintain documentation, manage charge capture, and ensure timely PACS transmission for radiologist interpretation, while adhering to safety and quality protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved school of radiology technology with certification by ARRT.
• CT registered within 6 months from date of hire.
• CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Produce scans, position and immobilize patients.
• Select proper technical factors and ensure patient understanding of the procedure.
• Capture exam charges and update HIS/RIS with relevant codes and procedure files.
• Verify procedures are sent to PACS for radiologist interpretation.
