Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center in Palm Beach County is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures across abdomen, pelvis, head, thorax, and extremities. The role requires current Florida license and ARRT CT registry.

You will use PACS and image manipulation to produce high-quality images and collaborate with radiologists. Excellent communication and computer skills are essential in our patient-centered team.

Qualifications

  • Current Florida license to practice as CT technologist.
  • ARRT CT registry current or obtained within 6 months of hire date.
  • American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Provider.
  • Proficient computer skills and strong written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/skull, thorax and extremities.
  • Utilize PACS and image manipulation to enhance quality of CT images.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy and pathology to support interpretation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education: Two (2) years of college.

Experience / Qualifications: Current State of Florida License. Current ARRT, CT Registry Required or obtained within 6 months of hire date. American Heart Association BLS, for Heath Care Provider. Proficient computer skills. Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.

Position Summary: The CT Technologist performs all CT procedures, abdominal, pelvic, head/skull, thorax, and extremities. Demonstrates knowledge of advanced computer applications including PACS and Image manipulation for image enhancement. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of the human anatomy & pathology and can use this knowledge to provide quality CT images for interpretation. Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit, stand, walk for long periods of time, be flexible enough to twist, bend, lift, assist, transport patients via wheelchair & stretcher. Be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs., perform CPR and patient assessment.

Threshold Requirements
  • Annual Joint Commission mandatory education requirements, in-service and health requirements including attendance at new employee orientation.
  • TB/PPD Surveillance Program.
  • Maintenance of required professional licensing and/or certification(s).
