Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT imaging across abdominal, pelvic, head, thorax and extremities. You will apply advanced PACS tools and image manipulation to optimize results.

The role requires a Florida license or eligibility, ARRT CT Registry, and BLS. Strong communication and computer skills are essential in a fast-paced radiology environment.

Qualifications

  • Two years of college completed or in progress.
  • Current Florida license is required or obtainable within 6 months of hire.
  • ARRT CT Registry or within 6 months of hire date; BLS provided by AHA.
  • Proficient computer skills and strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

  • The CT Technologist performs CT procedures including abdominal, pelvic, head, thorax and extremities.
  • Uses PACS and image manipulation software to enhance images for interpretation.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of anatomy and pathology to produce high-quality CT images.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the department.

Position Summary

The CT Technologist performs all CT procedures, abdominal, pelvic, head/skull, thorax and extremities. Demonstrates knowledge of advanced computer applications including PACS and Image manipulation for image enhancement. Demonsrates advanced knowledge of the human anatomy & pathology and can use this knowledge to provide quality CT images for interpretation. Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

This job can be physically demanding at times requiring stooping, sitting, standing, and walking for long periods of time. The team member will need to frequently assist lifting patients and heavy equipment. Must be able to work in a stressful environment, work independently, making sound decisions, detail oriented, alert and self‑motivated. Ability to push/pull up to 40lbs, carry and lift up to 50lbs.
