Qualifications

• CRT certified by the State required.
• Current BLS certificate required.
• Sexual Harassment/Bullying Prevention Certification within 1 month of hire.
• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Fluoroscopy License preferred.
• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and emergent CT examinations per dept. policies.
• Documents patient assessment/history related to procedures.
• Assists Radiologists in image-guided procedures and prepares trays/devices.
• Communicates with caregivers to ensure continued patient care.
• Provides patient/family education related to imaging procedures.
• Applies ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
