St Joseph Hospital seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures under the direction of Radiologist and CT Supervisor. Independently handle fast-paced cases, including CT angiography, 3D recon, and interventional support. Administer IV, oral, and rectal contrast while maintaining equipment and a clean work area.

Flexible for 24/7 coverage and adherence to ALARA principles. The role requires ARRT certification, NH Imaging licensure, BLS, and CT experience.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of CT Scan software and vendor platforms (GE/Siemens).
• Familiarity with PACS and EMR systems (Epic).
• Understanding patient prep, positioning and protocol-compliant acquisition.
• Ability to identify anatomy, pathology, and contrast enhancement.
• Ability to obtain history to ensure medical necessity.
• Commitment to reducing radiation exposure per ALARA.
• Understanding CT QA and warm-up procedures.

Aufgaben

• Acquire scans per radiologist and department protocol.
• Inform patients of exam and provide cooperation instructions.
• Assist radiologist during interventional procedures.
• Coordinate daily workload for inpatients and ED, prioritizing emergencies.
• Review IV Contrast Questionnaire.
• Document in Epic EMR.
• Review exams in PACS prior to radiologist review.
• Ensure patient safety and department cleanliness.
• Be flexible for 24/7 coverage including holidays and weekends.
• Arrive on time and complete shifts; complete required CEUs.
