Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Camden, New Jersey, is looking for a qualified candidate to perform CAT scan procedures and operate a CT scanner during interventional radiology procedures. Candidates must have graduated from an AMA approved Radiologic Technologist program and be enrolled in a specialized Computed Tomography program. This role requires adherence to infection prevention protocols and effective maintenance of the work area. Current BLS and ARRT certifications are necessary, and ARRT certification in Computed Tomography is preferred within the first year of employment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA Approved Radiologic Technologist Program.
• Must be enrolled in a qualified Computed Tomography program.
• Current BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CAT scan procedures following protocols established by the radiologist.
• Operate the CT scanner during IR procedures in the CT department.
• Maintain the work area and monitor supplies.
• Participate in clinical activities adhering to infection prevention policies.
