Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in Camden, NJ, seeks a skilled individual to perform CAT scan procedures and operate the CT scanner during interventional radiology procedures. You will maintain the work area and ensure compliance with infection prevention policies.

Qualifications

• Experience with Pediatrics and Cardiac preferred but not necessary.
• Current BLS Certification (Basic Life Support).
• Current ARRT License (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
• Current NJ-RADTECH License (Radiologic Technologist).
• ARRT Board Certified in Computed Tomography preferred; if not, within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform CAT scan procedures following established protocols.
• Operate the CT scanner during IR procedures.
• Maintain the work area and monitor supplies.

Enrollment in or graduation from a qualified Computed Tomography program preferred

Perform CAT scan procedures following protocols established by the radiologist and operate the CT scanner during IR procedures. Maintain the work area, report maintenance issues for equipment, monitor supplies, and report deficiencies. Participate in clinical activities and adhere to all infection prevention policies, using appropriate PPE.

Education Requirements
