Job summary

STJ St. Joseph’s Hospital in the United States is seeking a PRN Computed Tomography Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures, rotate through the CT Department, and assist in radiology safety and patient care.

The ideal candidate has a Medical Imaging Program background, ARRT or NMTCB certification, appropriate state licensure, BLS, and at least 1 year of CT experience. You will operate CT equipment and maintain infection control during procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program.
• Radiography certification with ARRT or NMTCB.
• Must possess current licensure as required by the state where services will be provided.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
• Background check as required.
• One (1) year CT technologist experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepares room, equipment, materials for patient exams and maintains infection control.
• Performs CT examinations per physician orders and informs radiologist of variations.
• Observes patient and equipment and reports unusual occurrences.
• Documents status of patient in radiology/CT chart.
• Maintains stock and ensures labeling and image quality.

Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program
