Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic imaging at a level that requires independent judgment and initiative. You will position patients, operate imaging equipment, and ensure high-quality results while adhering to safety protocols.

The role requires ARRT RT or NMTCB CNMT at hire time; CT technologist experience is preferred, with strict HIPAA and privacy compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• ARRT Registered (RT) or NMTCB CNMT at time of hire.
• CT experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Positions patient and performs imaging procedures independently, analyzes results and ensures image quality.
• Reviews patient history and orders; educates patient on procedures and equipment.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as appropriate; monitors patient condition.
• Prepares equipment, selects exposure factors, follows safety standards and performs quality control.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
