Job summary

Highmark Health, through Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a radiologic technologist who performs prescribed imaging procedures with minimal supervision. The role requires independent judgment, appropriate exposure settings, and quality control support.

You will educate patients on procedures, prepare contrast media when needed, monitor patient status, and ensure safety standards. CT technologist experience is preferred and ARRT/NMTCB certifications are required at hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate degree; or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training.
• ARRT Registered (RT) in radiography (R) or NMTCB registered (CNMT) is required at time of hire.
• Preferred Prior experience working as a CT Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Positions patient and performs imaging procedures independently, analyzes results and resolves image quality issues.
• Reviews patient history and physician orders; educates patient about procedures, equipment and exam.
