Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Boston, MA is seeking a CT Technologist to perform all CT scans, including image-guided procedures, and ensure high-quality, timely imaging with proper regulatory logs.

The role requires ALARA adherence, patient care from arrival to discharge, and teaching responsibilities for students and staff. A sign-on bonus may be available and equipment issues must be reported promptly.

Qualifications

• MA radiologic license required.
• ARRT certification required.
• Heart Saver certification required within 60 days of hire date.
• Demonstrated competence in CT imaging.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Verifies patient identity and demographics, and prepares patients for imaging.
• Performs CT exams and tracking to departmental standards, ensuring accurate billing data.
• Operates CT scanners and reports equipment issues promptly.
• Adheres to radiation safety principles and ALARA. Maintains imaging quality and patient safety.
• Mentors students and supports non-imaging functions as needed.
• Maintains required competencies for the patient population served.
