Job summary

Menorah Medical Center in Kansas is seeking a CT Technologist to perform routine and specialized CT imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images for physicians. The role emphasizes patient care, safety, and collaboration within a supportive team.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, IV starts for contrast, image quality adjustments, and post-procedure instruction delivery, all while adhering to radiation safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
• CT Technologist registration must be obtained within 1 year of start date.
• ARRT Radiographer registration must be obtained within 1 year of start date.
• BCLS certification required within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Position patients on CT table and assist with imaging procedures.
• Initiate IVs for contrast when necessary.
• Assess image quality and adjust protocols as needed.
• Provide post-procedure instructions to patients.
• Prepare and aseptically clean room between patients; sterilize equipment.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
