Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia, seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high‑quality imaging and patient care. You will perform CT exams, manage radiation dose with ALARA principles, and explain procedures to patients using AIDET to ease anxiety.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, BLS (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to dept. guidelines to capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA dose levels.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain history, verify orders, and identify patients prior to exams.
• Explain procedures using AIDET; address questions and reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout visits.
• Position patients, apply markers and shielding as indicated; administer contrast per protocol.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and document in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and assist with emergencies; restock equipment as needed.
