Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT imaging procedures, ensure patient safety and comfort, and collaborate with the radiology team. This role requires strong communication, technical proficiency, and adherence to imaging protocols.

The position supports department operations with flexible hours, PRN status, and opportunities for professional development within Wellstar’s CareerCare program.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year radiology-related experience preferred.
• Candidate must be able to operate CT equipment and provide safe imaging.
• ARRT certification in Radiography and CT as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures with attention to patient safety and comfort.
• Obtain accurate clinical history and ensure proper patient identification.
• Follow contrast administration protocols and radiation safety practices.
• Operate imaging equipment, review images, and ensure timely PACS release.
• Maintain equipment and assist department staff as needed.
• Communicate clearly with patients and colleagues to support high-quality care.
