Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia seeks a CT Technologist who delivers safe, high‑quality imaging and supports patients with compassionate care. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification.
• ARRT-CT certification.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely while maintaining ALARA principles.
• Clean and disinfect rooms and equipment; report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders with patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures using AIDET; address patient questions and anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Administer contrast per protocol when required and use sterile technique.
• Position patients and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and complete documentation in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and assist with emergencies; restock and organize workflows.
