Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a PRN Radiology Technologist to support the CT and radiography workflows across various shifts in the United States. The role emphasizes patient care, accurate imaging, safety protocols, and collaboration with radiologists and care teams.

You will verify orders, position patients, manage contrast administration, and ensure high-quality images while upholding patient dignity and comfort in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Accredited program in Radiologic Technology required.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT and radiography equipment safely and accurately.
• Verify clinician orders and patient identity before procedures.
• Position patients and adjust technique to obtain diagnostic images.
• Administer contrast media per protocol and monitor patient condition.
• Ensure image quality, proper labeling and timely PACS submission.
• Provide patient education and maintain compassionate communication.
