Job summary

Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and an exceptional patient experience. The role requires independent work within a collaborative radiology team and focuses on safety, accuracy, and compassionate care.

The position is full-time, onsite with a shift schedule including evenings. ARRT certifications and BLS are required, with at least 1 year radiology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications plus BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines; ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely; apply ALARA to minimize radiation exposure.
• Clean and disinfect rooms and equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and identify patients before exams.
• Explain procedures and prep to patients to reduce anxiety and improve cooperation.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and communicate findings to radiologists.
