Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program.
• IEMA Accreditation and BLS certification required.
• 1 year of experience preferred; ARRT CT certification within 12 months or 10+ years experience in lieu of certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient safety across imaging, including screening, prep, monitoring and post‑procedure care.
• Produces diagnostic-quality CT images using approved protocols and standards.
• Apply professional judgment within protocols to optimize image quality and address challenges.
• Reviews images prior to exam completion and takes corrective action if needed.
• Establishes IV access for contrast and monitors patient during administration and post-procedure instructions.
• Operates imaging equipment, ensures room readiness, and maintains logs and reporting.
• Verifies orders, confirms protocols, and ensures complete study transfer to PACS for radiologist review.
