Job summary

The Beth Israel Lahey Health CT Scan Technologist role supports patient care in a busy radiology department. You perform head to abdomen CT scans, administer contrast, monitor patients, and document in EPIC. The position requires ARRT registration and MA radiography licensure, with on-call duties and a 45-minute emergency response expectation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of radiologic technology training.
• Registered with ARRT.
• Massachusetts Radiography license required.
• Ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.
• Willingness to participate in continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans of head, chest, abdomen, or extremities per radiologist orders.
• Administer oral and intravenous contrast; start/monitor IV lines.
• Log contrast reactions in EPIC.
• Be available for on-call CT scans; respond within 45 minutes for emergencies.
• Maintain patient safety and infection control standards.
