Job summary

LCMC Health in New Orleans, LA is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT/X-ray procedures with minimal supervision. The role requires independent judgement, adherence to radiology standards, and active participation in department operations, QA, and patient safety.

You will review scans with radiologists, assist with training, maintain equipment, and ensure accurate data entry into PACS/RIS while following state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Proficient in CT/X-ray protocol execution and image acquisition.
• ARRT Radiography Certification required within two years of employment.
• LSRTBE license as Radiologic Technologist required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT/X-ray procedures with minimal supervision.
• Review scans with Radiologist to identify key findings.
• Maintain department QC and safety standards.
• Input and verify data in PACS/RIS.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, safe condition.
• Assist in training and supervising trainees as needed.
