The position involves bedside support, patient care responsibilities, and documentation in the medical record, with a full-time shift pattern including Thursday, Friday and every other weekend (7a-7p).

Qualifications

• ARRT certification within 1 year of hire.
• LRT (KS) license required from KS Board of Healing Arts.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• QA/QC of imaging equipment per protocol.
• Competency in aseptic technique and infection control.
• In the Community Hospital setting, assist in bedside care and life support as directed.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and general radiography exams.
• Maintain documentation, logs and records for radiology department.
• Perform QA/QC of imaging equipment and ensure compliance with policies.
• Provide bedside care and patient support under physician/RN supervision.
• Assist in initiating care to stabilize patients and support life support.
• Document services accurately in the medical record.
