Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a CT Tech I to perform computed tomography and molecular imaging procedures in a clinical setting. You will assist licensed practitioners with interventional procedures and ensure patient safety and protocol adherence.

Responsibilities include using imaging protocols, applying ALARA principles, evaluating image quality, and educating students and staff. ARRT or NMTCB certification is required on hire, with graduation considered for new graduates.

Qualifications

• Certification by ARRT or NMTCB required upon hire; new graduates must obtain certification prior to employment.
• Training in radiologic technology or nuclear medicine is essential.
• Ability to adhere to federal and state regulations and institutional policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct patient identification, preparation, and proper order acquisition while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to maximize patient safety and care.
• Prepare and administer medications through vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluate image quality, verify data storage or transfer, and perform post-processing as needed.
• Educate and monitor students and other healthcare providers.
• Assist with and perform CT procedures as directed by licensed practitioners.
