Job summary

Genesis HealthCare System is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures efficiently while maintaining high standards of patient care. The role involves operating imaging equipment, adjusting exposure settings, and supporting interventional procedures under physician guidance.

The incumbent will ensure accurate image quality, adhere to safety protocols, and assist with patient education and coordinating care within a busy imaging department.

Qualifications

• Registered Radiologic Technologist with Ohio licensure or eligible.
• ARRT CT registry required within 2 years of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner and related imaging equipment for diagnostic procedures.
• Adjust technical factors to obtain quality diagnostic images.
• Assist physicians in CT-guided interventional procedures as needed.
• Prepare and administer contrast media under physician supervision.
• Follow radiation safety policies and protect patients and staff.
• Utilize HIS/RIS/PACS to manage patient information and images.
• Assist in transporting patients to/from the department.
• Participate in training and supervision of radiology students.
• Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement.
