Job summary

Prime Healthcare is looking for a CT Technologist in Elgin, Illinois to perform CT scans and produce high-quality diagnostic images. The ideal candidate will have an ARRT-CT Certification and knowledge of radiographic equipment.

Qualifications

• ARRT-CT Certification is required.
• Must possess and maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and protocols.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety.
• Collaborate with Radiologists and clinical teams.

Skills

Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment

Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology

CT Technologist (CT Tech) Hourly Rate: $43.55 per hour Schedule: PRN Location: Elgin, Illinois

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and protocols
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety
• Prepare and position patients; administer contrast as appropriate
• Process and transmit images to PACS
• Collaborate with Radiologists and clinical teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.

2. Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment is required.

3. Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.

4. Radiology/ CT license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.

5. ARRT-CT Certification is required.

6. Must possess and maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.

7. Proficient computer skills.

Pay Transparency

Saint Joseph Hospital - Elgin offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $43.55 per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
