Job summary

SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City seeks a CT Technician to perform computerized tomography procedures per radiologist protocols. The role requires patient positioning, contrast administration, and strict adherence to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include monitoring patients during CT scans, maintaining equipment readiness, and following all state and federal regulations. Training is provided, with a weekend shift and full-time employment in the CT Scanner department.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program.
• No experience required.
• BLS HCP certification and ARRT/NMTCB CT credentials per the job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for CT procedures.
• Administer contrast media within scope of practice.
• Monitor patient during procedure and ensure safety protocols.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:Performs computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists. This position must perform at least 3 of the following procedures: biopsy, TAVR, coronary, watchman, extremity work for OR planning, ablations or fiducial placement.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

• PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitors protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted.
• Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

• Completion of a Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program
