Job summary

SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - Lake Saint Louis in Missouri is seeking a Radiology Technologist specialized in CT to perform CT procedures in our busy Cath Lab. The role requires completing a radiology program and appropriate ARRT credentials; cross-training in Cath Lab is available.

You will position patients, administer contrast, monitor safety, and support radiologists. Relocation assistance and day shift options are available.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program.
• ARRT-R Radiography, RCIS/CCI, CNMT, or other ARRT credentials as applicable.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope and regulations.
• Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity; monitors protocols and updates as warranted.
• Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safety.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Performs computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists. This position must perform at least 3 of the following procedures: biopsy, TAVR, coronary, watchman, extremity work for OR planning, ablations or fiducial placement.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitors protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted.
• Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

• Completion of a Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program.

EXPERIENCE

• No experience required.
