Qualifications

• Technical School Diploma or equivalent Radiography program.
• CNMT and RT(CT) certification preferred.
• Ability to provide proper patient care during radiologic procedures.
• Knowledge of CT technology and imaging protocols.
• Proficiency with CT software and PACS for image handling.
• Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude.
• AHA-BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT scans of designated anatomy with professional judgment and adheres to physician specifications.
• Operates scanners, injectors, and monitors safely and properly.
• Reviews images and repeats as needed for optimal results.
• Communicates with patients, explains exams, and maintains confidentiality of PHI/HIPAA information.
• Prepares images for radiologist interpretation and documents exams in PACS.
• Notifies physicians of adverse reactions or changes in patient condition.
• Maintains patient history, prepares patients for CT procedures, and ensures data accuracy.
• Performs quality control on imaging data and participates in department meetings.
