Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years of CT Technologist experience.
• Experience assisting radiologists and performing high-risk procedures.
• Ability to manage contrast administration and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Assists the radiologist in high-risk diagnostic CT techniques.
• Demonstrates competence in adjusting scan parameters to limit radiation dosage.
• Evaluates contraindications and coordinates care prior to procedures when possible.
• Performs CTA perfusion, trauma and portable CT procedures per protocol.
• Trains CT Tech I team members on high-risk exams and protocols.
• Manipulates CT parameters and reconstructions for optimal imaging.
• Documents findings and communicates with physicians for further care.
