Responsibilities

• Operates Multi-Slice CT equipment according to procedure.
• Selects scan angles, slices, techniques and protocols for image quality.
• Adheres to ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Performs quality assurance procedures and verifies appropriate orders.
• Explains CT procedures to patients and assesses contraindications for contrast.
