Kaweah Delta is seeking a Per Diem CT Technologist in Visalia, California, to operate multi-slice CT equipment and ensure patient safety. This role requires a CA Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license, ARRT (R) certification, and BLS certification. You will explain CT procedures to patients, verify physician orders, and maintain thorough records.

The position offers a variable 12-hour shift and requires experience in diagnostic and CT technology. A supportive and collaborative workplace is provided for all staff.

Qualifications

• Must have a CA Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license.
• ARRT (R) certification is required.
• BLS certification must be current.
• IV Certification preferred.
• Experience as Diagnostic Tech and CT Tech preferred.

Responsabilités

• Operates Multi-Slice CT equipment and selects scan protocols.
• Ensures patient and staff safety and minimizes radiation exposure.
• Explains the CT procedure to patients and verifies orders.
• Maintains accurate records and checks images for clarity.
• Mentors and teaches new techs/students as required.
