Qualifications

• CA CRT license and ARRT (R)(CT) certification required; BLS certification also required.
• Fluoroscopy license within 18 months of hire/transfer.
• Preferred IV Certification and CT tech experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate multi-slice CT equipment per procedure and select optimal scan angles for image quality.
• Maintain radiation safety per ALARA principles and protect patients and staff.
• Verify orders, document data accurately, and explain procedures to patients.
• Assist physicians with contrast administration and prepare solutions.
• Maintain PACS transfers and post-processing proficiency; participate in CQI.
