Job summary

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is hiring a CT Technologist II for a full-time rotating shift with on-call rotations. You will perform CT and CT-guided procedures, educate patients, operate imaging equipment, and maintain documentation and supplies. A sign-on bonus up to $15,000 is offered for qualified candidates; ARRT/CNMT certification and BLS are required, with registry upgrade within two years of hire.

Qualifications

• Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT or CNMT certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT to be obtained within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform Computed Tomography (CT) and CT-guided interventional procedures.
• Provide patient and family education; operate equipment safely.
• Complete department documentation; maintain equipment cleanliness and operability.
• Maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.
• Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines; administation of CT contrast per protocol.
