Job summary

UVA Health is seeking a Full-Time CT Technologist for a day-shift position in Manassas, VA. The CT technologist will prepare patients, operate CT equipment, and assist physicians in diagnostic scans while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

ARRT CT certification and ARRT radiography program completion are required or pursued within 12 months of hire. A sign-on bonus is available for this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required. 2 Year/Associate's Degree preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program.
• 1 year of CT experience preferred.
• Certified and registered by ARRT in CT within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in diagnostic/therapeutic CT procedures and operate CT equipment.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures to gain cooperation and reduce anxiety.
• Maintain sterilization and safety of equipment, follow protocols and quality control procedures.
