Job summary

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a CT Technologist II for a full-time weekend night schedule (Fri–Sun, 9:00 p.m.–9:30 a.m.).

The role performs CT and CT-guided interventional studies under physician direction, educating patients and families while safely operating imaging equipment. A trade school radiologic technology graduate with ARRT or CNMT certification and BLS is required; advanced CT registry must be pursued within two years of hire.

Qualifications

• ARRT or CNMT certification required; BLS certification required.
• Advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT to be obtained within two years of hire.

Overview

Sentara is currently hiring a CT Technologist II at the Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, Virginia.

Position: Full-Time, Weekend Night shift opportunity.

Work schedule: Friday - Sunday from 9 pm to 9:30 am.

Sign-on bonus up to 30 k available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

As a CAT Scan Technologist, you will perform Computed Tomography (CT) and CT-guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician; provide patient and family education; operate equipment safely; complete department documentation; maintain all equipment to be clean and operational; maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.

Qualifications

• Trade School Graduate – Radiologic Technology
• ARRT or CNMT certification required; Basic Life Support certification
• Advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT to be obtained within two (2) years of hire (to include mergers and acquisitions)
