Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT examinations per orders and protocols. You will review patient history, prepare IV contrast, and ensure patient safety while maintaining imaging quality.

You will collaborate with radiologists, document thoroughly in EMR/PACS, and educate patients about procedures. The role requires infection control and strict adherence to safety and time-out protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality CT examinations in accordance with orders and protocols.
• Reviews patient history to confirm exam appropriateness.
• Prepares and administers IV contrast following safety guidelines.
• Positions patients accurately while maintaining radiation safety (ALARA).
• Collaborates with radiologists to ensure proper imaging and continuity of care.
• Maintains EMR/PACS documentation.
• Educates patients about the exam and completes exams efficiently.
• Operates imaging equipment safely for patients of all ages.
• Adheres to infection control standards and PPE usage.
• Follows patient identification, consent, and time-out procedures.

Education

Associate degree (preferred)
