Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to operate CT equipment and produce diagnostic images for neonatal through geriatric patients. The role requires ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT) registration, CPR certification, and a minimum of two years of CT experience.

The position supports our fast-paced radiology department with opportunities to perform CTA studies and invasive CT procedures as needed, working weekdays 8:00 am to 4:30 pm in Atlanta area facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered CT Technologist from ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT).
• At least 2 years’ experience as a registered CT Technologist.
• Basic knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Operates computerized tomography equipment to produce films for patients across age groups.
• Performs high-level CT functions, including invasive procedures and/or CTA coronary studies.

Operates computerized tomography equipment to produce films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Performs high-level CT functions, including at least one of the following: invasive procedures and/or CTA coronary studies.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology.

Registered CT Technologist from ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT).

At least 2 years’ experience as a registered CT Technologist.

Basic knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy.

Ability to insert intravenous catheter.

Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians and other personnel.

Certified in cardio‑pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
