Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT equipment and produce diagnostic images for patients across age groups in a busy hospital setting.

The role requires ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT) certification, graduation from an accredited program, and current BLS. Prior CT experience is preferred. This on-site position offers full-time hours in Atlanta, GA.

Qualifications

• Grad of ARRT/NMTCB accredited program.
• Registered CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT).
• American Heart Association BLS current and valid.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to acquire diagnostic images for neonate to geriatric patients, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety.

Education

ARRT (CT) certification or NMTCB (CT)

Graduate of ARRT/NMTCB accredited school

BLS certification (American Heart Association)

OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY

Operates computerized tomography equipment to produce films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

REQUIRED

1. Graduate of an ARRT or NMTCB accredited school
2. Registered CT Technologist with the ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT)
3. Must hold American Heart Association Current Basic Life Support (BLS)

PREFERRED

1. Prior training or experience in Computerized Tomography (CT) scanning.
2. Ability to insert intravenous catheter
