Novant Health is seeking a CT Technologist II Acute to join our Rowan Medical Center acute care team. The role involves preparing patients, operating CT equipment, and obtaining diagnostic scans in a multi-ICU trauma center setting, including inpatients, outpatients, ED and OR procedures.

Qualified candidates will have ARRT CT certification, a HS diploma or GED, and a CT-specific license where required. The position offers a stable schedule with rotating call/holidays and opportunities for

What You'll Do

The CT technologist II Acute assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the CT equipment to obtain diagnostic scans in regional multi-ICU trauma medical center locations. The technologist is responsible for inpatient, outpatient, the emergency department & the operating room procedures to include biopsies, drainages, cryogen, spinal injections, cardiac, trauma, etc.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree ,preferred.
• Experience: One year experience in CT, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: NH Medical Center- Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT at time of hire. Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT) within 6 months of hire, required. Applicable state license, preferred.
• Additional Skills (required): Analytical ability, basic computer skills, good communication skills, ability to adapt to procedures based on age of patient, ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Prepares patient for procedures. Operates CT equipment.
