Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our acute care team. The role requires ARRT CT certification and prior CT experience; you will operate CT equipment and contribute to high-quality patient imaging.

Qualifications

  • Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program, required.
  • Experience: One year CT experience preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: ARRT CT RT(R)/RT(N)/CNMT at hire; ARRT CT RT(R)(CT)/RT(N)(CT)/CNMT, RT(CT) within 6 months; state license required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver remarkable patient imaging experiences in a fast-paced acute care setting.
  • Operate CT equipment with attention to patient safety and image quality.
  • Collaborate with radiology team to ensure accurate, timely results.

What We're Looking For
  • Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or Graduate of ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program, required.
  • Experience: One year experience in CT, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • NH Medical Center- Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT at time of hire. Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT) within 6 months of hire, required.
    • NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT), required.
    • NH Medical Group Office-Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT), required.
    • IV Credentialed, required.
    • Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement, required.
    • Applicable state license, required.
  • Additional Skills (required): Analytical ability, basic computer skills, good communication skills, ability to adapt to procedures based on age of patient, ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Prepares patient for procedures. Operates CT equipment.
