Job summary

Swedish Hospital in Chicago is seeking a CT Technologist II to perform CT exams and prepare patients for imaging. The role requires an accredited radiology program, CPR certification, and Advanced CT certification, with at least 5 years of CT experience preferred.

Sign-on bonus of $10,000 is offered. This full-time position includes on-call duties and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support professional growth and patient care excellence.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams for physicians to diagnose and treat illnesses or injuries.
• Prepare patients by taking history, explaining procedures, positioning and ensuring comfort.
• Complete documentation and submit CT images to radiologist promptly.
• Review CT images to ensure optimum quality.

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.42 - $56.45 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Hours: Sunday 830p-7a- through-Wednesday 830p-7a
• On Call: Yes
• Required Travel: No

What you will do:

• Perform CT exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures
• Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
• Complete all paperwork and submit images to a radiologist in a timely manner
• Review CT's to ensure optimum quality

What you will need:

• Education: Certification or Associate's degree in Radiology from an accredited program
• Certification: CPR Certification required; Advanced CT Certification required
• Experience: Previous CT Technologist experience - at least 5 years preferred
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
