Swedish Hospital in Chicago is seeking a CT Technologist II to perform CT exams, prepare patients, and ensure high-quality imaging. Full-time position with on-site duties and on-call responsibilities. Requires Radiology certification or associate degree, CPR, and Advanced CT certification, plus 5+ years CT experience.

• Certification: CPR Certification required; Advanced CT Certification required.
• Experience: Previous CT Technologist experience – at least 5 years preferred.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required.

Responsabilités

• Perform CT exams per departmental standards, policies and procedures.
• Prepare patients for exam: history, explain procedures, position patients, ensure comfort.
• Submit images to a radiologist in a timely manner and review CTs for quality.

Hourly Pay Range: $36.42 - $56.45 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

CT Technologist II Position Highlights:

• Sign on Bonus: $10,000

• Location: Swedish Hospital
• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
• Hours: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8:30pm-7am
• On Call: Yes
• Required Travel: No

What you will do: Perform CT exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures. Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort. Complete all paperwork and submit images to a radiologist in a timely manner. Review CT's to ensure optimum quality.

What you will need:

• Education: Certification or Associate’s degree in Radiology from an accredited program
• Certification: CPR Certification required; Advanced CT Certification required
• Experience: Previous CT Technologist experience – at least 5 years preferred
