Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a CT Technologist for a per diem role at Swedish Hospital in Chicago. Flexible hours and no call required, with full-time/part-time resource availability.

Qualified candidates will hold IEMA license and ARRT registration, CPR and Advanced CT certification, and have radiology education from an accredited program. Prior CT experience is preferred.

• Certification or associate’s degree in radiology from an accredited program.
• CPR certification required; Advanced CT certification required.
• At least 5 years CT technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams for physician diagnosis and treatment per standards.
• Prepare patients: collect history, explain procedures, position and comfort.
• Submit images to radiologist promptly and complete paperwork.
• Review CT images to ensure optimum quality.

Hourly Pay Range: $36.42 - $56.45 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

What you will need

• License: IEMA license and ARRT Registered required
• Education: Certification or Associate’s degree in Radiology from an accredited program
• Certification: CPR Certification required; Advanced CT Certification required
• Experience: Previous CT Technologist experience – at least 5 years preferred
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required

What you will do

• Perform CT exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures
• Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
• Complete all paperwork and submit images to a radiologist in a timely manner
• Review CT's to ensure optimum quality
