Join Our Team as a CT Technologist I - PRN

MedStar Radiology Network is seeking an experienced Multi-Modality Technologist for a PRN position at our outpatient imaging center in Brandywine, MD. Hours are available from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The technologist will rotate between CT and X-ray procedures.

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Radiology Medical Director, the CT Technologist will:

1. Perform computed tomography procedures and related techniques, producing sectional and 3D images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
2. Ensure all services are performed safely, adhering to established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
3. Collaborate with the imaging team to improve clinical practices through feedback and teamwork.

Minimum Requirements

Experience

• Up to 5 years of experience as a CT Technologist.

Education

• Associate Degree in Radiology or graduation from an accredited two-year radiology program.

License/Certification

• Certified by the ARRT in Radiography with current registration.
• Must obtain or hold ARRT CT advanced registration within 12 months of employment.
• Meet state licensure requirements.
• BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.

Skills and Abilities

• Proficient in operating CT and ancillary equipment.
• Ability to work independently and multitask effectively.
• Accurate documentation skills.
• Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology.
• Familiarity with computer applications including digital archiving and data retrieval.
