Qualifications

• 1-2 years of clinical experience in radiologic sciences required.
• 2-4 years CT technologist experience in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment and processing systems to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepares and positions patients for CT procedures with proper immobilization.
• Verifies patient identity, orders, and screen for contraindications.
• Performs point-of-care creatinine testing and calculates GFR when needed.
• Administers contrast media per orders and monitors for adverse reactions.
• Explains procedures to patients and provides post-exam instructions.
• Collaborates with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure timely care.
• Assists with interventional CT procedures and sterile field setup.
• Reviews images for quality and communicates findings as needed.
• Documents patient history and correlates with imaging.
• Maintains quality control on CT equipment and reports malfunctions.
• Responds to emergencies per facility protocols.
• Keeps work area clean, stocked, and ready for use.
• Adheres to safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
• Performs other duties and maintains reliable attendance.
• Complies with policies and standards.
