Job summary

Confluence Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform routine CT examinations and procedures, ensuring patient safety and quality imaging. The role requires ARRT CT eligibility or cert, WA RT license, and standby on-call availability with rapid response.

The position reports to the Radiology Manager and involves tech duties across the CT suite, documentation in EMR/PACS, and adherence to infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Required: Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• ARRT Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, RT(R).
• Must be ARRT registry eligible for CT and ARRT registered in CT within one year of employment in CT classification.
• Washington State Certification as Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for and performs routine CT examinations and procedures while operating CT scanners and related equipment.
• Screens patient for contrast contraindications and completes informed consent as needed.
• Performs IV access and administers contrast media under physician supervision.
• Maintains scanner cleanliness and infection control.
• Utilizes PACS, RIS, and EMR; completes required documentation.
• Keeps room stocked and CT supplies ordered; checks emergency equipment daily.
• Calls in service for repairs when needed and applies safe patient handling.
• Applies body mechanics during transfers and assists patients with lifting.
• Maintains ongoing education per regulatory requirements.
• On-call standby with 20-minute response when required.
• Participates in Quality Improvement Programs.
• Maintains Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
