Job summary

Fairview Hospital / Cleveland Clinic is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT and molecular imaging procedures in a clinical setting, ensuring patient safety and protocol compliance.

The role requires ARRT or NMTCB certification (new grads must certify before employment) and may lead to advanced credentials within 24 months; a specialty training in Radiologic Technology is preferred, with a Bachelor’s degree as a plus. Strong safety focus and imaging protocol knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Certification by ARRT or NMTCB required; new graduates must obtain certification prior to employment.
• Advanced certification within 24 months for hires after a specified date.
• Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Strong technical skills, attention to safety, and knowledge of imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography and molecular imaging procedures for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes.
• Prepare, administer, and document medications and radiation exposure in compliance with laws and policies.
• Ensure proper patient identification, preparation, and clinical history documentation.
• Optimize imaging protocols, ensure patient safety, and adhere to ALARA principles.
• Evaluate image quality, verify data transfer, and assist with interventional procedures.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
• Work primarily in clinical settings, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
